Comentário do autor: "Agora me lembro. "Cinema Olímpia" não foi a única canção inédita que cantei no show de despedida no Teatro Castro Alves. Também cantei "Empty boat", que gravara pouco antes no disco feito em Salvador. Essa foi a outra canção que escrevi em inglês antes de ir - e de saber que iria - para Londres. É uma canção muito sincera. Mais sincera do que a outra [Lost in the Paradise]. Não que seja boa. Mas eu ali estava dizendo ao mundo que eu estava vazio. E era exatamente o que sentia. E, o que é mais importante, a melodia e o som das palavras reproduzem exatamente como eu o sentia, recriam o clima em que me encontrava então: "From the stern to the bow/ O, my boat is empty/ O, my mind is empty/ From the who to the how"".
